Royal Mail first class postage is included within the cost of your box.
What's in the boxes?
The contents each time are a surprise! Jackie carefully chooses items for each box and each named box will be the same. There are no repeated items in the two boxes each month, so customers can opt for both if they choose, and be sure they will receive different items in each of the boxes for that month.
You can be sure that items included will be based around a vintage and girly theme.
Examples of some of the items which might be included (not an exhaustive list - just an indication):
Accessories such as scarves, gloves, hosiery, hair accessories
Jewellery such as brooches, necklaces, bracelets, earrings
Beauty - such as cosmetics, beauty accessories, shower and bath products
Home & Gift - such as vintage themed signs, stationery, ceramics
What about availability?
Our boxes are strictly limited to a set number each month, so once they are gone, they really are gone!
We have a cut-off date for orders around the 12th of each month for each box released. Each month this date will be published at the top of our home page. This is to allow us to ensure your boxes are packed efficiently and dispatched on time.
Boxes are dispatched on or around the 4th of the month (if the 4th falls on a weekend, it will be the next working day).
We release boxes on the website in 3 month blocks, so that if you want to order ahead for a specific occasion or birthday, or you just want to be sure you secure a box each month, you can do so. Please note the dispatch scehdule below before ordering so you are aware when each box will be sent.
'Betty' and 'Marilyn' boxes - last order date 15th January, dispatch on/around 4th February
'Ava' and 'Grace' boxes - last order date 11th February, dispatch on/around 4th March
'Joanie' and 'Audrey' boxes - last order date 11th March, dispatch on/around 4th April
Which delivery service do you use?
All our boxes are sent by Royal Mail first class delivery and you will receive a dispatch confirmation email when your box is sent.
We are unable to track an item on it's journey, but are notified when it is delivered. Please allow up to 7 working days for receipt of your box before contacting us. First class usually takes 1-2 working days, but this may vary at busy times - this is unfortunately outside our control once the parcels are in the Royal Mail system. The majority of parcels sent first class arrive within 2 working days.
Can I order more than one of the same box?
Yes of course! However please note that if you order two boxes with the same name, e.g. 'Betty' please note that they will contain identical contents. Great idea though - keep one for you and give another as a gift!
Can you add a gift message for me?
We certainly can! Please remember to enter your message in the comments section at checkout, and if you would like us to send your box direct to your recipient, please ensure you enter their delivery details at checkout. If in any doubt, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will ensure any relevant details are noted.
What if I have an issue which needs sorting?
If you experience any issues with your box, please contact us at email@example.com in the first instance with more details and we will do our best to work things out with you.
General Terms & Conditions
Please report any faulty or damaged items to us within 3 days of receiving your box and do not dispose of the item until you we have confirmed it is ok to do so. If requested, any faulty items must be returned to us. Returns of faulty items will only be accepted if the goods were faulty when delivered to you, we take every effort to check your purchase thoroughly for any faults before sending them out to you. All items returned as faulty will be inspected on receipt and any items deemed subject to fair wear and tear will not be accepted as faulty.
If you are genuinely unhappy with your box, please get in touch within 14 days of receiving it. It must be returned to us within 28 days from the date you received it, in its original condition and at your expense. Once the 28 days has passed, we are unable to offer a refund. As long as the box and contents are received back in their original condition, a refund will be processed within 14 days. Return postage costs will not be reimbursed and we recommend you use a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for any parcels lost on their way back to us.
All parcels returned to us (from either not being collected, incorrect delivery address or any other valid reason) can be re-sent to you, however this will require an additional payment to cover the cost of second time delivery.
Please note that if you need to cancel your order, it may already be going through our system, in the process of being picked and packed, or may already have been dispatched. Please notify us by email at the earliest opportunity if you wish to cancel. If you order has not been dispatched we will be able to process a cancellation for you. This cannot be done until 24 hours after an order is placed. Please allow up to 5 working days for the refund of your payment to be processed. The refund will automatically be returned to the method you used at the time of order. If your order has already been dispatched, we will be unable to process a cancellation and your order will need to be returned to us, once received, to go through our returns process.
